Kasin Forged scraper chains are the heavy-duty traction and scraping elements used in en-masse and buried scraper conveyors. Unlike standard roller chains, these chains carry material directly on their scraper attachments, dragging bulk loads through enclosed troughs. Each link is drop-forged from high-grade alloy steel, then heat-treated for uniform hardness and wear resistance.
The chain consists of forged links with welded or bolted scrapers. Links are commonly made from 42CrMo, 20MnCr5, or 40Cr, with pins that are heat-treated or surface-hardened to resist abrasion. Scrapers can be steel or plastic (PA6, PE, UHMW PE), and are available in square, flat, bent, and U-shaped profiles to suit different material flow characteristics.
Chains are available in standard pitches from 100 mm to 260 mm, including series such as P142, P200, P102, and P260. They are used across mining, cement, grain processing, power plants, and steel mills—anywhere bulk materials need to be moved continuously through challenging conditions.
Each chain must match the conveyor’s trough width, scraper configuration, and load requirements. For custom scraper profiles, material selection, and load calculations, contact the chain manufacturer directly.
